Our firm’s Client Accounting Services department is currently seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who wants to participate in our firm's positive culture and is passionate about helping our practice grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and navigate firm software systems, including Practice, ACS, QBO, QB Desktop, Intaact, ADP, and Bill.com.
- Support a variety of accounting projects, including:
- Outsourced accounting services: Bank reconciliation, Payroll tie out, Equity tie out, Coding expenses, Bill pay, Accounts rec, Trial balance review and tie out
- Preparation of 1099s
- Annual business accounting (write-up)
- Tangible personal property returns
- Compilations without disclosure: Monthly, Quarterly, Annually
- Auto worksheets
- Shareholder health insurance
- Demonstrates strong understanding of basic accounting principles – debits/credits, journal entries, financial statements
- Apply logical thinking when recording accounting information.
- Begin learning and applying different accounting methods: Cash, Accrual, GAAP
- Communicate professionally both internally and with clients:
- Collaborate with team members regarding project statuses, ask insightful questions, and actively participate in meetings.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, as directed by the client relationship managers.
- Contribute to the team by volunteering to assist with projects and fostering a supportive, cooperative work environment.
- Enhance job knowledge by participating in department-wide training, as well as independent learning (e.g., reading professional publications and staying updated on regulations).
Skill Requirements:
- A strong foundation in accounting principles and practices (debits/credits, journal entries, financial statements).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QBO, QB Desktop, Intacct, ADP, and Bill.com. Experience with Microsoft Excel and other accounting-related tools is a plus.
- High level of accuracy and ability to spot errors or discrepancies in accounting records.
- Ability to apply logical thinking and reason through complex accounting tasks or discrepancies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Qualifications:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented International Tax Manager to join our dynamic public accounting firm. This role will involve working with clients on a variety of international tax matters, providing advisory services, and ensuring compliance with both U.S. and foreign tax laws. The International Tax Manager will work closely with clients in a range of industries to address complex international tax issues and to develop tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help oversee and review international tax compliance, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8938, and FINCEN114.
- Provide strategic advice on international tax issues such as Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and foreign tax credits.
- Lead and mentor associates, reviewing their work and providing guidance.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on international tax laws to provide proactive solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing inquiries and ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate with domestic tax teams for integrated tax planning and solutions.
Skill Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time public accounting experience with exposure to international tax concepts, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, foreign tax credit calculations, and international reporting and compliance.
- Proficiency with Forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8938, 8621, 1116, 1118, and FINCEN114.
- Familiarity with Sec 962 election and High Tax Exception.
- Strong tax research experience and abilities.
- Exceptional client service and communication skills, demonstrated by the ability to cultivate and maintain exceptional client relationships.
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring capabilities, complemented by effective verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the firm proficiently to client management.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and complete projects within a rapidly growing, fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Desirable Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in international tax, with a track record of leading multiple engagements.
- Proficiency with tax software such as CCH, Engagement, SafeSend, QBO, SurePrep, GFR, Fixed Assets, UltraTax.
- Master's degree in Tax.
- CPA license.
